Salik Balance Inquiry Online
Now first of all below methods, we will tell you the online ways to check Salik’s balance. Including ways to check balance from the Salik App, Salik Website, and Account Number.
1) Salik Balance inquiry by Account Number and PIN
#1: Recharge your mobile phone with some balance to make calls
#2: Call Asker Balance Check Number 800 72545
#3: Press 1 (for Arabic) or press 2 (for English) to select your language
$4: After that press 3, and enter your account number and PIN to log in to your Salik account.
#5: Press 1 to check the balance of the applicant’s account
#6: After knowing the balance, disconnect the call
2) Salik Website
- You need to have a mobile or computer to check your balance with the help of the Salik website.
- Open https://www.salik.ae/en from your device browser.
- Log in to your account after clicking on the login option on the website header.
- Enter your vehicle’s license plate number (without spaces or hyphens)
- Now type your Salik account PIN and know your Salik balance
3) Salik App
The method of checking the balance with the help of a website or app is similar:
- You need to have a mobile or laptop to Know your balance with the Salik app.
- Download the Salik app from the Play Store or Apple Store on your device
- Once the app opens, enter your vehicle’s license plate number (without spaces or hyphens).
- Type your Salik account PIN and know your Salik balance
You need to create your Salik account to know your balance on the Salik app or website. If you have not created your account yet then you need to sign up for your account or you need to inquire about your offline Salik balance which method will be explained below.

1) Salik Balance Inquiry With SMS
Check your Salik balance via SMS in 3 easy steps below:
1) Write your message:
- Open the messaging app on your mobile and start a new message
- Type “salik” followed by a space
- Enter your Salik account number (for example, 12345)
- Add another space and then your PIN (eg 6789)
- Your message should look like this (replace with your details):
SALIK 12345 6789
2) Send to applicant number:
- Enter the recipient number as 5959. This is the dedicated number of the Salik SMS service.
3) Receive your Salik balance
- Within a few minutes, you’ll receive a reply SMS from Salik containing your current Salik balance.

Salik is available 24/7 to guide all his customers. If you are not able to check your balance through the above-mentioned methods, then talk to Salik Customer Center now and check your current balance, see details below:

- You’ll likely hear an automated message prompting you to choose your preferred language (English or Arabic) by pressing a corresponding number on your keypad.

- Enter your Salik account number and PIN using the touch screen or keypad provided

Salik Balance Inquiry Without Logging Into Your Account
To inquire about your Salik balance without an account login, you need to open the RTA website. Look for the Check Salik Balance option on the website and click on it. Enter your registered mobile number, and license plate details in the RTA box. Select the type of license plate you have.
Select the private or commercial plate number that you have and enter the license plate number of your vehicle. After that press the “Check Balance” button and know your Salik balance.

What is Salik Fine?
Salik fine means a penalty imposed for non-payment of tolls on roads using the Salik system. If a vehicle does not pay the toll while passing through the Salik gate or the vehicle is not registered with the Salik, the owner of the vehicle is fined by Dubai Salik. This penalty may vary as detailed below:
- First Fine: AED 50 (within first 10 days of offense).
- Second Fine: AED 100 (if no action is taken within 30 days of the first offense).
- Subsequent Fine: AED 200 for each subsequent violation, up to a maximum of AED 10,000 in cumulative fines.
Recharge your salk or check the salk balance in advance before going through any salk gate to avoid the salk penalty. With its help, you can avoid the fine issued by the applicant.
Notice:
All fees mentioned above are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). For Al Mamzar South, you will not be charged twice if you travel in both directions within one hour. You can avoid the fee at Al Maktoum Toll Gate during closed hours (Monday to Friday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM and Saturday 10:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM).

Unfortunately, there’s no way to check your Salik balance without an account number. The system relies on linking your vehicle to a specific account for identification and balance management.
To check your Salik balance without an account login, you need to open the RTA website. Look for the ‘Check My Balance’ option on the website and click on it. Enter your registered mobile number, and license plate details in the RTA box. Select the type of license plate you have. Select the private or commercial plate number that you have and enter the license plate number of your vehicle. After that press the “Check Balance” button and know your Salik balance.
Transferring the Salik balance to another account is not possible. For this, you need to deactivate the Salik tag from the old vehicle. Now top up the existing account or buy a new seeker tag for a new vehicle.
Send “SALIK [Account Number] [PIN]” to 5959 for your Salik balance via SMS (e.g. SALIK 12345 6789 to 5959).
